A games development studio is an incredibly hungry machine, which burns through insane ammounts of money just to stay in place. Development, with farming out work to contracted teams, is one of the most likely future scenarios to tackle that.
In order to prepare for that day, I have started a development team consisting of talented and ambitious students at University of Teesside. Whether on contract or not, we will develop games, if only to get the experience and gel as a team. Who knows what our employment future looks like when we graduate? In any case the hallmark of a development team, is the number of titles it has worked on together. We are busy stacking those odds in our favour.
Currently we are contracted to develop a game for an arcade platform for an undisclosed customer.
Our team's minisite can be found here.
