Fine Art Paintings

Okay, Okay. I can't help myself. If I don't have a games or an art project at hand, I will just start dreaming up other things to paint. I have to admit that those moments are few and far apart, but there is nothing quite like sitting in front of an easel, not having to paint, draw, animate or model something specific, only what you want yourself.

It should be easy to decipher that as a (fine) artist, colours are my religion. In fine art, I love colours over form, rhythm, line, light or story. For example it is so fascinating how you can add life to greens by giving them blues nearby and purple for shadows. The relationships between the colours in a painting can, in the hands of a skilled artist, almost completely make it up for form and shape.

As for me, I try.
