Digital Paintings

When I first laid my hands on Electronic Arts' brilliant Deluxe Paint, I was instantly in love!

That application was the artistic peak of our civilization back then on the Amiga, even though it seems crude and backwards today. Today I get my kicks from Photoshop and Painter, and if I need to work on a pixel-by-pixel basis, then Cosmigo's Pro Motion is my tool of choice. I usually start with a sketch made on paper, sketching straight on my tablet or perhaps working from a reference photo.

I honestly wish that I had more time for digital painting, since the results can be so stunning and artistically fullfilling, but it is such a time consuming endeavour. Below are a few samples; Some are illustrations and some concept art for game characters.
